The third of our 3 free fall workshops had over 70 registrants (!), and was a wonderful success. Many thanks to Helen for her presentation...
“Amazing!” That was the word heard most frequently from guests at the opening reception for the GAP Paper Trails exhibit at View Arts Center in Old Forge, NY. GAP members in attendance were thanked by both visitors and gallery staff for organizing an exhibit of an artform of which many had been unaware.
Every year, GAP Members participate in a midwinter joyous exchange via mail of small works of art. This year’s theme for our annual small art exchange, organized as always by the amazing Lucrezia Bieler, was “Snowflakes.”
GAP Artists created these beautiful bookplate designs a few years ago, and they are traveling! If you have a local place you think would be willing to host this miniature exhibit of papercut artwork, please contact GAP President Randall Williams to get onto the touring list!
