Chain Reaction
May 24 – June 22 EDT
Chain Reaction is a collaboration by the International Online Art Collective, a group of 14 artists from eight countries currently on display at Sitar Arts Center’s Cafritz Gallery in Washington, DC. Comprised of 100 artworks, each informed by the previous panel, the collaboration took over two years to complete. After a premiere in Jamestown, NY, last November, the show is continuing its world tour. The multi-media exhibit also includes a behind-the-scenes video and a companion publication “The Making of Chain Reaction” (available for purchase online or in the gallery). For those unable to see the work in person, an online exhibition with narratives of the artists’ inspiration can be found at the IOAC.art website.
