Christmas Papercutting 101 with Nelly Hofer

Treat yourself to the ancient art of ‘Scherenschnitte’ this Christmas using only paper and scissors! This 3 hour workshop will provide you with the opportunity to cut and create unique and beautiful Christmas pieces and will show you tips and tricks you can use at home to make even more. All materials will be supplied. There will be lots of options to work with whatever inspires you!
Nelly Hofer is a local Stratford, Ontario, artist and published illustrator that turns everyday paper into beautiful and intricate works of art. She has illustrated four books and was nominated for the Governor General’s Award for Children’s Illustrations.
