Silhouettes and Scissors with Charles – Free workshop

To celebrate the advent of fall, GAP is offering a series of three free workshops, for members and non-members! Please spread the word about GAP and sign up below for our second exciting workshop in the series.

Description of the Class

Practical aspects of the workshop will focus on how to use scissors. This will be aimed at those more used to working with a knife, who want to learn about scissors, but is obviously open to all. I also plan to spend some talking about silhouettes more generally, their history and position in society. I’ll have some antiques with me, but also encourage people to bring any they might own. Participants will need a pair of scissors (any will do) some paper to cut and perhaps a pencil.
