“Amazing!” That was the word heard most frequently from guests at the opening reception for the GAP Paper Trails exhibit at View Arts Center in Old Forge, NY. GAP members in attendance were thanked by both visitors and gallery staff for organizing an exhibit of an artform of which many had been unaware.
Many questions were asked of GAP members Jerise Fogel, Dave Reichard, and Kory Sutherland who volunteered to demonstrate their papercutting skills during the reception. People were particularly interested in the tools and techniques used to create the more than 60 pieces of artwork on display in a diversity of styles and from all
over the country and several foreign lands. And GAP members who were in attendance at the opening reception want to thank all
our fellow members who contributed to making such an “amazing” exhibit and celebration of the art of papercutting!
