GAP Papercutting Conference 2020

Rock Pittsburgh

with paper and scissors!

Pittsburgh, just waiting for you to try your hand at a silhouette!

Join the Guild of American Papercutters in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, for our 2020 CONFERENCE, a celebration of papercutting and community. Whether you are a professional papercutter, a beginner, or simply an enthusiast, the Conference is a wonderful opportunity to learn, get inspired, and explore the world of papercutting through classes, demonstrations, exhibits, and discussions with others. This year workshops will include creating layered papercuts, learning collage techniques, make your own paper, calligraphic alphabets and designing with lettering, and much more!

Join us at the University of Pittsburgh – Greensburg campus in 2020!

A Home for Paper Artists

Through its publications, traveling exhibits, papercutting conferences, workshops, and demonstrations, members of the Guild of American Papercutters (GAP) seek to spread and celebrate the art of cutting paper. Whether you actively design and cut in paper, or simply appreciate the finished works of papercutters, we invite you to join our community. Our worldwide membership embraces all styles, materials, cutting methods, and experience levels. However you work, whatever your style, you will find kindred artists in the Guild of American Papercutters.
