After 36 years of teaching high school art, I'm now pursuing my dream of being a full time artist. While I've dabble in many mediums, I've have found doing paper cuts the most satisfying. In 2020 I won a commission from the Bay Ecotarium and Aquarium of the Bay to paint a fiberglass sea lion that will be on display for a year. Also during this year, my paper cut A Prayer for the Greening was accepted for San Francisco de Young museum's Open show celebrating the many wonderful artists working in the Bay Area. I just completed an online class with the extraordinary paper cutter Beatrice Coron. I'm excited to join the Guild to learn and share with its members.
