I'm a Paper Engineer and Illustrator of Pop-Up Sculptures, Pop-Up Books -Made to Order, Cards and Volvelles.
I currently live in Upstate New York with my husband and 2 puppies. I grew up in Bayside, Long Island on a quiet street.
I graduated from Monroe Community College with a degree in Rec. Leadership where my internship took me to working with senior citizens. I loved spending spare time being with and creating art projects for my next class with them.
After college, I did a lot of freelance artwork; watercolors, logos, printing business cards. To help support myself, I worked as a cashier, waitress & played keyboard in a band. The money from the band paid for me to go to College.
I took a Fine Arts course, at Finger Lakes Community College. I’ve won awards at local art shows, displayed my paintings at local banks, libraries and a major department store.
After working for a Fortune 500 Company, in Finance for 17 years, I shifted focus to designing and creating paper sculptures and Pop-Up Books.
My Studio opened in 1994.
